Is it normal to see a 2-3 psi spike between shifts in a vehicle with an auto trans? I hit fuel cut one or two times yesterday and after taking a log saw this happen. Fuel cut set at 177kpa. I average 168 kpa at wot. After shifting from 2nd to 3rd it went to 185kpa. I have a huge pte66 wastegate with a 6768 turbo

    thanks!!!

Some boost controllers are a little slow to react as they try to control target boost, my basic 2 stage turbosmart will overshoot by 3-4lbs for .750 of a second. I have removed the check ball and spring and it will hit target more accurately(not spike/overshoot) but it takes about .5 seconds longer to hit target boost.
