Went to KCIR saturday for a track rental. Conditions were as close to ideal as one could ask for. 61* for a high, low 20% humidity and high barometer. DA started out at 388' on the first run at 11:30am and went to 878' for the last run at 5:30pm. Track was super sticky first part of the day and slowly went away a bit by the end. Had a little excitement on the first hit......I'll let you watch the video on that. Second hit totally made up for the BS on the first run. Previous best(s) were a 1.25 60', 5.49 @ 128 in the 1/8th and 8.65 @ 164 in the 1/4. This thing was going down the track like a bracket car!

Looked at my AFR log last night on run #2. It only varied from 11.7 to 12.5 all the way down the track. Made a slight change to the PVCR's before run #4, and the AFR was between 11.3 and 12.0. The carb seems to be working great.

Run 1:
60' = 1.255
Pedal'd it......twice.....

Run 2:
60' = 1.226 OFF THE FUGGIN BACK TIRES!!!
1/8 ET= 5.328
1/8 MPH = 130.98
1/4 ET = 8.279
1/4 MPH = 168.00

Run 3:
60' = 1.261
1/8 ET= 5.387
1/8 MPH = 130.94
1/4 ET = 8.340
1/4 MPH = 168.22

Run 4:
60' = 1.281
1/8 ET= 5.403
1/8 MPH = 131.02
1/4 ET = 8.348
1/4 MPH = 168.88

Run 5:
60' = 1.235
1/8 ET= 5.369
1/8 MPH = 130.64
1/4 ET = 8.321
1/4 MPH = 168.35

It was an awesome day to say the least. Didn't crash...... and crushed my ET goals for the day / year.

Congrats on the great runs and the great save as well! You certainly had everyone in the pits talking Sorry I didn't get a chance to swing by and say hello. I had my hands full getting my car up and down the track and then had to pack up and head back home. I'll have to catch up with you at the March shootout or another race around the area.

Might have been a great save (ie: lucky) but it was a dumbass move on my part that put me in that predicament in the first place. Atleast it ended well.

I apologize....I saw your car down from me in the pits and just couldn't get over to say hi before you left. Maybe next time.....from the pics I saw of your car, it looks awesome!

I was sooo busy steering that I didn't dare take a hand off the wheel to hit the 'chute......otherwise thats what I normally would have done.

Anyone notice the hood flying 80' in the air.....while I was sliding sideways for what seemed like an eternity I was thinking how the hell did my hood get all the way up there????? It was the other guys hood though. LOL.

I did the same thing yesterday, up on 3 wheels that is. Not nearly as high as yours was, nice save.
