Excellent drivability. I found it not much different than the stock cam.

The only difference I can tell is the fact you can hear more of a lope at idle. It has no issues on low rpm driving. So far I'm extremely happy with the F-cam.

I noticed a huge difference between the explorer cam and the F cam. The explorer cam had gobs of torque way down low. At first the f-cam feels a tad lacking....until you reach a bit higher in the rpm range. Once you do however it pulls like a MOTHER! It has far more mid and top end charge which more than makes up for the small loss down low. :2thumbs:

thank's im sure the larger displacement of the 351w compared to a 302 will make up for that, im hoping to make 450+
and i really didnt want to go the custom ground route
    thank's

Ya the explorer cam just falls on its face at the top end. Been curious if I should try an off the shelf cam for my explorer motor. Hmm maybe f cam .

How much better is it than the stock 89 5.0 HO cam? I'm mainly going for low and mid range power.. Not gonna rev much over 5k rpm.

Well I will definitely be getting one if I redo my longblock with a stronger block. First I must upgrade my driveline piece by piece to take the punishment of over 500 hp and get traction too...
