I am getting ready to build up a twin turbo BBF 460 to go in a 64 Fairlane Thunderbolt "tribute car". Car will be Street-Strip-Show Car.
Base engine will be about 525 HP with 9.2:1 CR. I want to boost it 8 to 10 PSI for 750-800 HP.

    Engine - 460 BBF, Bore - 4.400", Stroke - 3.85", Max RPM - 6500
    SCJ Heads - Ported
Intake - Single Plane - Edelbrock Torker II (revised 2/25/11)
Cam - Have not decided on grind yet
    950 CFM Blow Thru Carb
Exhaust Manifolds - Custom built by me
    Twin Turbo's - Garrett 60-1 (or equal), T4 Flange, .81 or .96 A/R
    Boost - 8 to 10 PSI
No Innercooler- Plan on Water / Methonol Injection
    46mm Wastegates
    50mm Blow Off Valve
    Ignition - MSD Programmable 6AL-2
Wastegate and Water-Meth Controlers - Have not decided - Probably programmable
Fuel System - Aeromotive 11101 Pump and 13204 Regulator

Any & all advice would be appreciated.

That looks pretty good -- the 60-1's will only see 230 inches per turbo, so they should spool OK. A high lift cam with 2-5 degrees more intake duration than exhaust duration (maybe 230 at 0.050) and wide lobe centers, like 115 degrees, would help spool the turbos faster and the car will idle and drive well. Should be a rocket with what you're planning.

One thing's for sure, it's going to make a shit ton of power. Like fritz said, you are only feeding 230ci with each turbo, and they are going to love that. I would go for the .81s personally since you aren't looking to really go crazy on power. At 400hp per turbo they aren't even going to be close to working hard. Once you are tired of 800hp (meaning, the 2nd day it's running) they will easily support more.

Am I the only one who thinks he has about 100CI too much to be running those turbos?

The 60-1 was originally recommended to me by a vender. I did the calcs and it looks like the right turbo for this application:
Based on a 460 CI. Air Flow required = 69.5 Lbs / Min - using twins = 35 Lbs / Min per Turbo
    Pressure Ratio = 1.68
Looking at the Turbo Map for a 60-1, it looks like I'm right in the sweet spot. Unless I am reading it all wrong.

The tricky part with big CI/low HP is the turbine sizing, compressor sizing is easy. Most turbos in the 400hp range don't have a large enough turbine wheel. If you wanted 1600hp it would be ridiculously easy to choose.

That said, a P-trim turbine fed by 230" shouldn't be too horribly bad, they work OK as singles on engines larger than that.

For most applications maybe, but he said he only wants 800hp from 460ci. For a street/strip/show car like he said, I think they will be just fine. A 60-1 on a GN works pretty well, and he is in the ball park for running two of them on a 460. If it were mine, I would probably step up to twin 66s or 70s just because I know 800hp wouldn't stay fun for long.

Q-trim MP T70s sure would be fun.

Yeah, just not what he said he wanted. If he was looking for 1400hp they would be perfect.

Where can I find info to size the turbine? Are there maps available like the compressor side?

Also I picked up an Edelbrock Torker II intake at the swap meet last weekend.

if torker2s on bbfs are anything like their chevy big and small block counterparts, they are terrible intake manifolds.

Torker IIs are quite popular in the turbo crowd. Not quite a Victor Jr. but more even distribution than a RPM.

I'm diggin this build already. twin 60's are fine to get what he needs done for sure. Things still gonna be a monster. I would love the twin 88s personaly :)

I have another fox body and a BBF sitting in the corner been calling my name lol.

not sure how much differant the torker II is to the weiand xcelerator, but I have one on a SBC and it works really well, for not being a high rise. I was gonna get a RPM air gap, but the weiand fell into my lap for 75.00 so couldn't pass. Has good top end and lower.

is a 950 carb needed? i would think something smaller would give it better out of boost driveability, maybe 750-850.

Dunno which of these the OP meant, but a 950cfm carb is very different from a HP-series 950. 750 1-3/8 venturi main body + 850 1-3/4 throttle bore = 950 cfm ???? Interesting math to get that answer... my guess is Holley didn't directly intend the '950' to signify the cfm rating, but sure hoped a lot of gullible people would think that's what it meant.

I'm re-thinking that now. An 850 would probably work great.

    Is it a HP 950 or a 950cfm? What's the venturi size?

A 950 HP has SMALLER venturi than an 850.
