4800-5200 converter, with transbrake, where should the 2 step RPM be? I'm sure that traction is one deciding factor. With ideal traction, how far below stall do you guys set the 2 step? Thanks a ton in advance!

    I'd say 500rpm below stall speed (4300-4700)

Thank you very much. What RPM do you have in your burn-out?

i have a 2 step and have a 3200ish converter. I can't get the 3000 rpm pill to hit before the car starts to roll. they said to wire the line lock in with the 2 step.

With the 91mm I had the footbrake set @ 3200rpm and the transbrake set @ 4200rpm. It would build about 9lbs like that so I didn't push the rpms higher. With the 98mm I had to up the footbrake to 3500rpm and the transbrake to 4600rpm to get 7lbs. Next trip to the track I am going to try 3800 or so on the footbrake and maybe 4800 on the transbrake to try to get 9-10lbs. I think the converter will allow me to get to about 5000-5200 so I guess I'll be around 200-400 rpm short of its "max stall".
