    Hey!
I was wondering if vacuum secondaries would work under boost? I’ve never really considered how they work, so I’m wondering if anyone uses them on boosted application.

I am currently using a Holley 4412 500 2 barrel and am having some tuning issues. Also, it’s been suggested that I may not have enough cfm for my application... though the math says 509cfm at 15 psi and 6000RPM.

    Cheers!

One way is if your entire carb is inside an enclosure.

Boxes are expensive and leaks are a pain. What are you boosting?

    Sorry, just saw this now.
    I’m blowing through a Holley 500 2 barrel right now. It’s on a Chevy 250 inline 6 @ 15 psi.

Measure the boost below and above the throttle blade and compare. That will tell you how much of a restriction the carb is.

Post some pics of your setup. If it's running already why mess with a box?
