Anyone run a 351w with a victor jr. spyder intake and stock sized dist. cap?

    hey all,
    I know UPR makes the adapter to fit a small cap on a regular distributor, I have seen 302 guys run the stock sized cap, but on a 351w with the efi spyder intake will the stock sized cap work? I called CHP who made the intake and the guy wasn't sure :bang:

    I was gonna PM you about it, but I saw in the pic of your engine that you run an MSD dist. with the small cap.
    so a stock ford size cap will work?

    In my motor pic that is not an MSD with a small cap, it is an accel dual sync with a standard size cap. I have never run a small cap.

    Either way, before running the gen VII, I did run an MSD with a standard cap and it worked fine too.

    It is msd-8452 (steel gear) or msd-8453 (iron gear)
