Ready to order but undecided on what size turbo for my stock bore 350 sbc. Was pretty set on a s475 but have read it may be a little laggy especially on the street which is mostly how the car is used. So was leaning towards the infamous gt45. Id say my goal for now is 600hp. Any other suggestions? Thanks

gt45 will be just as laggy.

A true borg s366 would be my go to on that if its just a mild motor.

What's the rest of the combo? Stock bore doesn't mean a whole lot.

It has 200cc aluminum heads. Comp magnum 270h cam. I will have to do a piston swap as it is 11:1 right now. TH400 with manual valvebody and a 2400 stall.

Im not looking for instant spool, I dont mind some lag or going a little bigger to give me somthing to grow into if i decide to try to squeeze more power out of it.

Gt45 wont be laggy on that imo, but a 7875 may not be a bad choice either. They can be found pretty cheap, there's a billet wheel version on Ebay for less than $300.

I'm a vortec headed 355 with single plane intake and Fitech. I run a 10" 3500-3800 stall and at full boost around my stall speed.

This is the detail needed. If dude had a 2000-2500 converter it would be huge turd with gt45.

There's at least one member here who claims usable boost by 2500 with a mildly cammed pre-vortech 350 and gt45.
