Whats the going price for a gauge to measure air inlet temps? Is there cheap ways to measure them? I'd like to measure before and after temps when the twins go in. Thanks.....

Interesting...Is that a water temp gauge? At the bottom it shows the sender. You have one? What do you mean about response time?

yes I have that one and used it last year nice unit also . what i mean is if the temp rises faster then probe sence speed(ex if i took the probe and put it in some boiling water that is at 100 how fast would it react to the change in temp and reach 100 deg?

    hope this makes sence.

just woundering if the sensor reacts fast enough to rise in temp to be real accurate ?

I've made test with Ultralite II step motor transmission temp guage, and with a Ford OEM IAT sensor, it gives the right reading.

But it may not be cheap.

Funny you say that. I have a transmission temp gauge that Isn't hooked up yet that I was thinking of trying. It's a short sweep though. I don't think it would work. How come nobody makes these gauges???

PLX makes one that goes for about $80 on ebay. If any site sponsors deal in PLX, they may be able to offer a better price.
