Backing plate not sealing

    got a major boost leak between compressor housing and backing plate Air coming all out around it and the bolt holes. How do you fix this

    I did have the housing off the other day and plan on taking it back off tonight. Is it possible to put a o ring in there and some gasket maker??

    how are you determining its leaking. They all leak some. Most leaks mean nothing when it comes to the volume of air actually moving thru.
