now that i got sommme stuff done i thought id start a build thread, aiming for around a month to have it done.. we'll see..

    the truck is a 99 sonoma zq8, 2004 lq4, 2001 4l80e, and moser 12 bolt.
the motors got 86K miles, i just put in arp2000 rod bolts, billet timing chain, comp pushrods, pac 1518 valvesprings, and a 2004 ls6 cam.
the trans is gonna get a trans go stg.2 shift kit and i already have a circle d triple disc converter, 3500 stall.
rear end currently has 3.73s, 3.23s will be getting swapped asap.
the rears got c-clip eliminators, 33 spline axles, and a detroit true trac.
i drove the truck last year with one granatelli 255lph pump in the tank, hopefully itll get the second in the tank as well, if not ill have to put it in line..
its got -8 braided fuel line, -6 return, and an aeromotive regulator.
    73lb/hr bosche injectors

the turbo is a turbonetics tc 78 1.15 a/r housing, jgs 50mm wg, jgs 56mm bov, 12x24x4" a2a front mount. 3" cold side.
im using an 1 5/8" shorty header, with a 2 1/2" v band collector, into 2 1/2" crossover pipe, into a custom schedule 10 stainless log manifold..(lets hear all the haters about logs not working..lol)
3 1/2" downpipe, into 3 1/2" straight thru magnaflow, out to the rear bumper...

im looking to drive it to work at least 5 days a week on 7-10 psi and turn it up for the track to around 14psi(race gas)
my original goal was to have it very driveable and go 10.99999 but i kinda think there might be alittle more than that in this setup, especially if i can get it to hook and make a clean run on 14psi...

Thanks guys. Any thoughts on what this has the potential to run..? This is my second turbo car. The first I didn't ever race at a track...

Suspension will b cal tracs and some good adjustable shocks. And if needed slicks. It will hook...

Well, I'm curious as well because we have virtually the same setup. Lq4, LS6 cam, etc.

Looks really good. Do you have clearance for a larger downpipe or is 3.5" pushing it? Got any pics of the dowpipe and rest of the exhaust?

I cut the bottom of the fire wall and front of the floor pan, and it will be patched in with sheet metal, and insulated properly but anyways, I could probably fit 4"...it fits between the trans and frame very good. . but for my power goals I think 3.5" will do.. I'd like to step up to a s380 turbo and shoot for around 800rwhp... so hopefully the 3.5" will do...

I do have some pics on my home computer ill post later tonight.

I see no reason why the thing wouldn't be able to break into the 10's.
