I have had this mustang for a while now. Its slow and since day one I had plans to turbo it. Its a 98 npi. I plan to do an ON3 this summer with goals of maxing it out at 450 rwhp. Anyone have any advice on On3 kits. I have put this project off so long because of my engagement and other life stuff. It seems to be the only thing I can afford. Also will thw bottom end survive a little while at that power level? In the future I would like to build a engine, but i would have to ise this bottom end for like 5000 miles or so.

Got a good start so far:

    K-member upr
    Subframes mm
    Upper lower control arms
    Caster camber plates
    Hr springs front coil over
31 spline rear with 3.73 i had them already
    PI cams
    Pi Intake
MHS PAC valve springs for boost
Msd dis 4 ho and coils
    Bbk 300lph pump
Cleaned the hell out of everything lol
    Torque box reinforcements
New ford racing head gaskets, lapped valves
Currently rebuilding t45 over the winter
Upgraded seats, body, wheels, paint, top, etc.
For being so slow i have a alot of money in this $2800 car I refuse to add it up but its getting high for me.

Just want a bad ass streer car

Good looking car. With a good tune, it will live at 450. That's about the limits of stock internals, but heck my stock longblock was holding 17psi for almost a year and still is. Luck of the draw when it comes to stock internals, but a good tune is key.

That is encouraging. I have heard that the plastic intakes can fail around 14 psi. I really hope I dont need that much boost, but idk what to expect. Its my first turbo. you running the stock intake?

I have a on3 kit on my 351w car. The header fitment was a PITA but everything else lined right up.

I know you sold the car but what size AR on the turbine housing were you gonna use? .81 or 1.05? I looking to put a On3 70mm on my aviator, just wanted to compare with you.
