I've had this car about 2 years now and have done a few things to try and help the performance.
Going to put the car down this winter season for the swap but as of now it is a stock bottom end 302 w/ procomp 2.02 heads, E cam, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, bbk long tubes, no cats, tremec 3550, spec 2clutch, 8.8 w/410 gear 31 spline carrier and axles, on american racing lemans wheels 17x9 front and 17x11 rears w/ 315 nitto 555rs. I've had the car dyno tuned and was not happy with the results of 273/305. At the last track day the car ran 14.0 at 98 w/ 2.4 60' transmission isnt shifting like it should (possible clutch adjustment) and the rearend needs to be shimmed up. Either way I was not happy with these results.

Got some King main and rod bearings, Sealed power rings, Trickflow roller lifters, ARP oil pump DS and Cam bolt, head dowels and a Melling HV pump.

Torqued the crank in and checked end play @ .0045 should be fine. Goin to get the rods and pistions in tonight as soon as I search around to find a good piston ring gap to set. Any opinions?

Haven't got much done to the short block like I wanted to. But I did pickup an intake, elbow, rails, and some valve covers. :chacha:

wanted the super victor jr intake and wilson elbow but for $200 I had to get this.

Pro Products Hurricane EFI intake, EFI Spyder 90mm Elbow, Pro Products fuel rails and some fab'd valve covers.

Got a few pistons/rods in but not much more done. Ordered the T6 flange and have been collecting mandrel bent tubing from my shop.

Speed Pro ZL2446F is the part #.

All I'm looking for is a streetable 600 at the rear wheels.

damn, These are the same pistons i have sitting in my garage right now, lol. How did you manage to clear big valve with these pistons? Did you have to fly cut? BTW, i am also shooting for around 550-600rwhp...hell i will be happy with less power as long its reliable.

I bought the short block disassembled with these heads and was told it was ran with 560ish lift cam. The pistons do look like they have been cut. And with an F cam and 1.6's it should clear fine.

Haven't got much done lately but the short block is all together and slowly pulling the old setup out.

I'm gonna be doing a similar build for a ranger too. Mines a 78 block, 76mm garrett 96a/r, gonna use the pro comp intake elbow too. I was planning on going with RHS heads though. Keep it going, as I won't be doing mine till my 2.3 one is done, and thats gonna make it next year for sure. Looks good so far. I want 700 to 800 at the engine with mine.

Yeah I've been watching his build. Gonna be wild for 2 teal 94 turbod windsors in GA. Waiting on his next update.

I should have some new progress and pics this weekend. Found a great deal on a set of 60# injectors with a meter.
