New to the Turbo world of V8s

Looking for advice to see if this turbo can work for a 347w application. With all supporting mods.

    Would it be extremely unefficient/laggy?
SBF R Block, Victor JR heads. Etc
    Manual transmission

Can get it for a really good price!

Person who is selling got as much info as he could.
No real play in it what so ever. Just slight.

Came off of a diesel generator,

number on the exhaust side, A/R114
    Looks like T6?

there is a Detroit Diesel part #FD1166,,,,
    the intake diameter is 135mm

    Inducer wheel. 88mm

Can't find any info at all on the net about it.
    Any help much apretiated.
    Cheers

Thats off a 6V92T. I'm not sure how much it can support the 6V92 ranged from 225-335 hp. It wasn't much boost and mainly wad to reduce drag on the supercharger. Yes they were turbo supercharged 2 stroke diesels. They sound like nothing else in the world. I'd try it out.

Think I could squeeze 600/700whp out of it?
    They mind higher boost levels?
And how well know are these to be rebuilt?
    Or are they too ancient?
    Lol
Thanks a lot for the information.
Finally I know what it is.
    Much appreciated !

Or for that HP level would you recommend just slapping on an EBay GT45?

Compressor will support it no problem, the housing looks way too large. Probably won't get into any decent boost before next xmas. A $190 shipped Gt45 could do what your asking.
