25.2 chassis, blow thru, water to air intercooled 106, should be ready to race in about 2 months.

Looks like fun, 14 years ago when I threatened to put a big block with twin turbos into my 86 T-type you would have thought I was the anti Christ, even had one Buik Hardcore guy threaten me over on TurboBuick.com :stupid:, wish I would have done it instead of rebuilding the v6.

BTW what kind of car is in the back ground (black convert) and is it rolling on Bonspeed wheels?

I know what you mean with the buick guys. They can be a little crazy. The car in the background is a '64 Impala. It is actually a hardtop, the owner spent weeks sanding the metal and used his own process to clear it, it looks like stainless steel and is beautiful. It has an LS motor with twin turbos, should make about 600 rwhp @ 6 or 7 lbs. And yes, they are bonspeed wheels.

Looks real good! Are you planning on using some kind of support bracket for the turbo? Any pics of the rest of the car? I really like that blue. What is the color?

If you look at the picture with the grill of the car in the background you can see another turbo mounted in the grill. We have a double 1/2" chrome moly mount running across the front of the car. The crossover goes to the bottom, and the turbo sits on top. That way we can remove the headers etc. or the motor without taking the turbo out, plus it supports that heavy sucker sitting way up front like that. Plus we were able to mount the radiator off off the same mount.
The car was painted that color when I bought it, you'll laugh when I tell you the color. It is Ford Aspire blue ;), but I still like it.

Got any pictures of the current setup with the radiator mount? Have someone local doing a similar swap that would like to lay the radiator like I think you probably have it. Did you have to get a specific radiator?

I'll be down at the shop working on the car tomorrow. I will try and get some pics for you. The radiator is laid down close to horizontal in the driver side front corner with as big of a single fan as we could get on it. It is just a universal radiator that we ran in my True 10.5 camaro. We feel it will cool fine for the track, and hope it works on the street. It won't be seeing any serious street time though, just cruising it here and there.

That is actually a cast wheel 114. The 106 is mounted on the support in the car right now. We're also going to be running a large frame 88mm from precision for a few of the racetracks where that is all they allow in radial.

All it "has" to cool it for is from the pit to lanes, down the track, and back to the pit.
If it cools it enough for a little street cruising, then that's a bonus. :2thumbs:
And all of the fab work is done by Tim @ V&P racing, he does awesome work.
