    This is my 78 Thunderbird.
Bought it back in 1993 already 460 swapped. It had been like this since the mid 80's Rv cam , 2000 stall, tree fitty gear. Went mid 14s. Over the years I made various changes and it went 13.0s on motor with a best of 12.98. With 125 shot it would go mid 11s. In 2008-9 I hurt the motor on a nitrous purge. Dont ask. Broke a piston. Was a stock 73 460. I let it sit until 2013. Buddy got his 460 mustang going so I got it back on the road. I had another stock 73 460. So I swapped the heads and cam over and rolled it out.
Changed to e85 and up the nitrous to 175 shot. Never made it the track but it was definetly faster.

The nitrous game got old. So I pulled it off and decided I was gonna to a rearmount deal.
Ordered an s480 specd out from Bullseye and proceeded to build it.

    Pics to follow.

Weighed this tank on scrapyard scales. 4480lbs. Probably gonna tip 4500 with the back seat in.
It pulls pretty hard. Definitely faster than it was on nitrous. Less violent hit so it hasnt spun at all on clean roads.
Goal is high 10s. I feel like its there. Will get some track time in a couple weeks.
