The car is a '69 Camaro that I've had since I was 16. I did a complete restoration when I was in high school and eventually ended up with a 400 ci SBC built from a Dart little M block, AFR 190 heads, custom ground hydraulic roller, weiand 177 blower, big holley carb, snow water/meth and a th350 trans. The blower was too small and only made 5 psi of boost and a lot of heat. It made a ton of torque and mid 500s hp on the engine dyno.

18 years later...this summer I swapped the blower for a single turbo and holley sniper 1250 efi. I freshened up the motor with new Spartan MLS head gaskets and had the heads milled for a clean surface. Currently it's running a t76 turbo (way too small) at 7 psi on the wastegate spring. I'm happy with the tune I created with the laptop software and I'm going to the 12 psi spring now to start upping the boost. Other new parts are a weiand xcelerator single plane intake, Fuelab prodigy 140 gph pump and a Fuelab electronic regulator, all -10 feed side and -8 return. I also went to an AEM progressive water meth controller with their nozzle.

It's still running the th350 with a 3000 stall B&M convertor along with a built 12 bolt rear and 3.73 gears. The car is full weight and rarely sees a drag strip but hopefully will again next year. It ran 11.40 at 120 mph on street tires with the 177 blower.

Future plans are to switch to a turbo better suited to my combo and back to a manual trans with a t56 magnum swap. For a turbo I'm leaning toward an s485 t6 with a 1.32 A/R 96/88 exhaust side.

Thanks. I read your entire 2.3 build thread earlier. Awesome job with the detail, I wish I would have done the same this round. I had a million pictures from when I did the resto back in the day but unfortunately they disappeared. I'm hoping I can come up with the negatives
