What would you build for a EFI street/strip turbo motor to go into a Gen 1 Dakota Chassis that would like to go into the low 9's on pump fuel (93octane) Also what kind of compression and heads? I was also wondering what size single would I need to keep the back-pressure down/?

    Thanks

Wouldn't take much more then a 440 with a good bottom end and heads to get low nines. An s480 or a set of t70's.

Do the 500 it will give you a better crank than the 40 year old 440 and be able to match a turbo better than the 572. I would probably do a 88 or 91mm

    I just went 9.96 @ 3550# with a 440 and a S475 11 psi, footbraking, 10.3:1 afr. I say 440 to keep the piston speed down and a S480 or 88, that'd be slick.
