I have a stock 5.4 cam. I want to stick with the stock cams for tuning and mileage. This is a daily driver. When we measured the cam lift it ends up a lot lower than the published data. My machinist made a jig so we didn't have to consider the hydraulic lifter collapsing but the lift was lower than the 461 I have seen published.
Is this correct for stock cams 300 lift?

I found this page which measures lobe lift at .217. .217 X 1.8 (rocker arm ratio)+.390. How is the cam lift figured at .46?

Where did you find that specification page? Very nice . . . I have been looking for something like that for a 4V.
