Intercooler sizing..

    I want to build my own air/water intercooler. I know I will need a flow capacity of 1300cfm for the boost/motor combo. I want to have the intercooler setup for 1500cfm so i can increase boost at a later date. All the flow numbers for cores i have found are for air/air direction. Calculating area to cfm has given me a wide range of numbers, so I cant figure it that way.
    Anyone know how much frontal area i need to look at for the 1500cfm flow?
