My new build will most likely have one... Unless i can find a custom intake that wont totally break the bank.

Ill most likely run a 1" spacer on it though, i think it will help.

Do you have any thoughts or information on this intake? I know lots dont like it because of the mid range power, but there arent a lot of choices when it comes to C-heads for aftermarket intakes.

    IMOP
On a force induction/race car application where 1000rwhp is a thing of the past & you are trying to push all the air you can into the engine
there is one flaw in the design.

un equal length runners on all cylinders = un equal air distribution in all cylinders
making some cylinder run leaner or richer than others.

Yea thats always been one of the problems with that intake. Also likes to dump air into the back cylinders. Im hoping a 1" spacer will help with that a little more though.

I would have responded sooner but i still havent seen the pics you posted, my work computer blocks pictures and such... Its pretty gay, silly government crap.

most single four cast manifolds have the same issue.

the spacer will help but remember
the plemum and runner are the two parts of the intake manifold

The plenum is the common area from which each runner draws and fills.
One runner shouldn't be drawing off another to fill the cylinder.
If it does..you have a severly undersized plenum. Once the air is in the runner you want it to stay there so it fills that cylinder.

Exactly. Id like to find an intake with equal length runners, but i also dont wanna spend 3-5k on an intake lol.

for 1000/1175rwhp threw a auto ,you will be fine. The intake work good.

If you are planing to build a all out race car, where you need to be arround 1200/1500rwhp just to be competitive & you class do not permit sheet metal intakes then we will need to find a solution for our intake

Part of the solution is on plenum volume & to address that we will correct some of the runner leng issue on the way.

    This is nothing new
this has been done before by the pros..
    here are a few examples

Hmmmm that seems like a lot of work. Why dont you just build your own intake? Or can you not use a sheet metal intake?
