1970 Dart Swinger, Single Turbo, Stock 400 big block Auto

    Subframe connecters are in and springs have been removed.I am trying to figure out what to do next and what to buy so I can keep going as right now I have about $600 and want to keep going as long as possible. I already have the paint for the bottom and floor [ POR15 ] Black and the paint for car which is white base coat clear coat. I think I need to get the rear suspension which is going to be a touque link so I have brackets that need welded in and the 10 poing roll cage in before painting floor and bottom. I need engine and trans mounted to be able to do front mount of the torque link so I think the next thing to do is work on my new square tube K frame and front suspension which I am building. Just got my mill wired properly so I can start drilling holes

    The front suspension I am going to buld is kind of going to look like this

    I am using Mustang spindles, Granada rotors and GM Metric brake calipers and coil over shocks with rack and pinion steering, It is stock car controle arms with a strut rod on lower and custom made upper. Mine will be square tubing instead of round. I will post pictures as I go

    There will be a crossmember welded in later when I see where it goes I think I am going to get the engine out from under the bench, and strip it tonight and get it and the trans mounted in the car this weekend

    9" is way to long and wrong gear. Had a 8.8 Ford out of a Ranger that is right length and has a 3.23 gear which is where I want to start.     It's comin out nice so far. I like the torque arm setup as well as the front suspension.

    Yeah its looking great. Didn't meen to critisize.
    My 392 pump started running into delivery problems at around 500whp on the last 408 I put together. I ran -8 line. Maybe you won't have that problem. Just keep an eye on it.

    More parts showed up today.Coil over shocks from Rod Parts Wharehouse and Pirate Jack Brake kit with drilled and slotted rotors, stainless brake lines . Picture does not include spindles but kit does.

    Finished up rear suspension, got panhard bar welded in and went to install fuel tank and does not clear anything. Now I have to go fuel cell
