Thought I'd share a few pics. of the remodel I've been in the middle of for the past year or so - bought this car in 1999 and it's been a slow, downhill slide from a street car to a race car - she sported her factory paint until just this year. My current goal for this car is for smart & consistent 4.9x's in a hot street/ x275 /true 10.5 type class.

The new specs: 347 sbf - Dart, TFS High ports, Reichard intake, etc
'glide w/ a Chance converter
custom 9" MDRC/Strange rear end
Strange brakes all around
25.3 cert. chassis by Mike Duffy racecars
Precision 94mm billet LF turbo - forward facing (may not be the one used for future classes)
a/w intercooler
Bogart welded r/t's
315/60.15 or 275/60.15 drag radials
Big Stuff3 / MSD 7531

Hey its looking great I have one question about the Foward Facing Funny car Cage Bar it looks like it sits way Back, maybe its the Picture I dont know but isnt it supposed to come out past the drivers helmet?

Thats an awesome build you got going there! There is a shit ton of filler rod you have there.

Thanks man. Since the seats are not installed you can't really tell, but seat sets quite a bit farther back than oem. The gas/ brake pedals are probably 6" behind their original position. Next time I sit in the car I'll check it where my noggin is though.

It is my intent to have it on the track this spring - maybe late spring. Hope to have it back from the paint shop March 1, then all that's left is assembly, plumbing, wiring.
