347 with 70mm master power two small

    I have a r block 347 with high port TFS haeds R intake will a master power 70mm with a .96 ext be two small
    if anyone has the same combo let me know how you made out how much HP & how fast thanks.
    also the cam is a comp cam 224/230 .536 int .516 @112 with 1.6 rocker I.m running 1.7 rockers so the cam sould be .571 int .551 ext
    cam falls off @ 5900 rpm

    OH YEAH! T70 isn't going to be able to keep up with a set of high ports and a bumpy cam like that. Sorry pal. But two would do pretty good with a smaller A/R on the turbine side

    I ran a MPT70 for a long while, and it finally was running out of steam. My combo is lil smaller than yours

    331
    Wedge Heads
    Systemax Int

    Went high 9's on 11-12psi all day. If I added boost no change, it was done.

    thank you for the info I did not buy a turbo yet so I,ll just get a 76 power master that sould do its a street car. I.m, looking for a turbo that spools fast and I need good gas millage ha ha

    With that setup I'd definitely run an s400 if you're on a budget.

    Or 300 series if you want to stay T4.... and a smaller down pipe..

    t6 is allways less money than the T4 stuff from borgwaner

    VS sells some T4 to T6 adapter flanges if I remember right......

    ya I have one I,ll have two put the kit on and see how much room I have the car is a 86 with stock hood might be to tight I have a GT42 .02 its big

    A t4 s400 with a way bigger turbine wheel than a q-trim is only $800, hardly any more money than the q-trim.

    Master Power makes a nice GT45 with a 76mm compressor. The turbine is 88mm with a 1.05 housing?

    2010 'high performance' .pdf catalog lists all the MP45s with either a 77.5 or 78.6 turbine.
