    Hello all,

Putting together a mild 318 for now with an Ebay GT45 turbo. Probably will keep it around 10 pounds. What size wastegate should I be looking at? I'm thinking of buying a 50mm. Thanks for the feedback

How do you like that turbo on your 360?

I'm using a 78/75 turbo on my car, I was originally going to use a gt45 but I was told the response would be better with the 78/75

Placement is important. You want good flow to the WG put mine at 90° off the up pipe. It actually worked pretty good while it was on pump gas and around 10psi. I switched it over to flex fuel and turned it to around 15psi. I think the turbo finally got in the efficiency zone and it ran away. Turned the boost down and added a second WG with better priority.

38mm is fine if placed well. That turbo isn't a very good choice these days. Lots of better options around the same price if you haven't bought it yet.

JBliss, I have no doubt it works, I was going to go that route originally, but there are a bunch of different options out there now that may work better for a given setup.
