    Hello,

I am looking for a recommend turbo for very low boost. 5-7 PSI max, intercooled, on a Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5L DOHC V6. Compression is stock 10.8, and I will be using pump gas. The transmission and clutch is of currently unknown strength so that's why we are keeping the boost down and not looking at meth injection.

Borg Warner Matchbot is pointing me at a:
    1. s300sx-e 87S74 13009097008 13009097055
    2. S300SX-E 91s72 13009097049

Currently swapping the 2GR into a Mr2 Spyder. Just looking to have a pleasant daily driver. Obviously not going to for peak power or anything. Anything obviously wrong about these sizes I should be concerned about?

    Thank you.

That compressor looks a good match for what you are doing. Should be a quick toy. Is point 6 at redline?
It takes traction to break a gearbox. In such a light car it is unlikely the box will be over stressed. The stock clutch will be suspect at 7 psi.

Sorry, the clutch is either going to be an ACT or clutchmaster. It won't be stock, but it's rated for the scion TC's 2.4L engine. The transmission is from a 2011-2016 scion TC, called a EB60. They are kinda rare transmissions, I had to order a brand brand new one from Toyota directly as the used ones were actually more expensive. :/

Also yes, the 6th point is almost to redline, at 7000 rpm.

Good. The 7psi at point 3 looks better than your first post too. Your torque peak will probably be at around 5,000 rpm so when you decide you need more power, you could let the boost creep to about 8.5 psi at 6000 and 11 psi at 7000 to maintain that torque up towards redline. This would give you about 20% more power without increasing torque and stressing the gearbox or clutch.

I don't think the motor will like 11 psi on pump gas with it's compression.

You might be surprised. Particularly if it will take 7 psi @ 5000, it will probably take 8.5 @ 6k and 11 @ 7k.
