26" tire what gear

I did some searching around and found that everbody runs a 3.27 but with a 28" tire. I would like to run a 28" tire but do to the back spacing on my wheels they wont fit. What I got is a 3000lb mustang with a stock short block rhs heads, victor intake , and a 750 blow thur. on e85 the turbo is a 60mm garret with a .81 a/r turbine with a c4 for a transmission. Looking to go mid tens the car made 300wrhp at 6200rpm and went 11.90 N/A. So what do you guys think would be a good gear for this combo

I would try the 26" tires with the 3.27's you have now. See how high your rpm's are threw the traps. I run 3.55's with 26's in the 1/8th and 28's in the 1/4 shifting at 6800.

one thing to remember a taller tire will cancel out some of your gear making a 3.50 act like a 3.27 and the opposite with a shorter tire will make 3.50 seem like a 3.70 if that makes any sence

Yeah I'm stuck with a 26" tall tire because of the back spacing on my wheels 28s wont fit so I was wanting to get close on the gear on the first try. I used some of the calculators and a 3.55 puts me at like 6100 at my goal of 130mph but that's not figuring in converter slippage and being a stock block and not wanting to spin it real hard i thinking 3.27 are going to be the best . I was just wanting some of you experts advice. Thank you for your time.

3.73 are to high for my car, have to use 5th in the quater on my 26" street tires. Go
nna step down to some 3.27, and run a 28" dr. using a t56

I run 3.08s with 28" tires. Seems to work fine.
