2002 Ford Lightning Build

    Hello All, dont see to many Lightning builds on here, so here you go! My brother is building a kit for a buddy of mine and its for a 2002 Ford Lighting with a fully built engine trans and rear end. The stock lower intercooler will be upgraded and custom sheet metal plenum will be made. The goal is 800rwhp for the street.

    ENGINE

    -Ford Racing 5.4L block bored .020 over
    -CP 16cc forged pistons
    -Manely H-beam rods
    -forged 8 bolt crank
    -44 cc 4.6 twisted wedge heads w/ stage 3 valve springs
    -Crane stage 2 blower cams w/ CompCams adjustable cam gears
    -Ford racing 80lbs injectors with duel GT pumps

    Turbo Kit

    -Comp Turbo CT43-7479 Billet wheel triple ball bearing oil / water cooled. Also has a 3.5' backside
    -46mm precision V-band wastegate
    -50mm turbosmart BOV
    -90mm q45 TB
    -Pro M Racing 4" blow through MAF
    -Electric fan conversion kit
    -custom made headers, up and down pipes

    Awesome! I hope to one day turbo my lightning. Unfortunately my girl said I have to leave it a bolt on truck. :ahah:

    yep they bolt on to the exhaust which bolts on to the heads....i dont see the problem :2thumbs:

    Modified the ABS mount to fit around the header, added bungs for the catch can on the valve covers.
