We have been working on the new turbo setup for a few months now and should be ready to fire very shortly!!!

Engine:

364 inch 8.2 Dart IE
AFR 205cc heads
Custom SR cam by Scott Brown @ Competition Components
Custom Ross pistons by Scott Brown @ Competition Components
EFI converted Super victor intake, fuel rails and elbow by Supernatural Turbo


Transmission:

TH400 with pro brake by Hutch
Presicion Performance air shifter


Turbo setup:

88mm custom turbo by Supernatural Turbo
Air to Air intercooler by Supernatural Turbo
Hot and cold side plumbing by Supernatural Turbo
Tial Waste gate and BOV


Basically we wanted something that could be street driven on pump gas, driven to the track if desired, raced and driven home. We also wanted something that we could put some race fuel in and go rounds at an NMRA event or even our local heads up series. After speaking with Scott brown at Competition components on the engine needs and getting the core sorted out, we consulted Supernatural Turbo for the boost source. Reed and Matt put a good bit of thought and time into the setup and the packaging turned out great. Below are some pictures of the build and where were are so far. We will be consulting Don Bailey for the BS3 injection system so the tune will not be a worry. There are a few things to be buttoned up, but all in all it should be ready to run very shortly.

There little things here and there that need to be cleaned up a bit like the wave in the bumper cover opening, but you get the idea. I will continue to update this thread with more pictures and info and time goes on.


Can't wait to drive it and make some passes!!!!

Thanks guys. The complete turbo system is from Supernatural Turbo. Turbo chargers are their specialty rather than complete kits, but I was lucky enough to have them build this one for me.

Again the turbo setup is from Supernatural Turbo (Supernaturalturbo.com). Reed and Matt did an absolutely amazing job of packaging everything to avoid cutting up the car, as it was already painted and complete.

Should have the radiator, trans cooler lines (manifold for temp sending unit is also finshed), and coolant overflow finished up this week.

Didn't even see your post until now!! So you are giving up on the 5-speed already??? Or did it finally give up on you and the monster you attached to it?

haha, not giving up on it until it goes 9s on a stick with DRs or it breaks
To be honest, liked the stick at the track more than I wanted to, that 10.37 felt smooth and the top end charge on 16psi was bad@ss.
