Been lurking for some time now, and figured I would post my project. This is my 92 isuzu pickup. It was my fist car, and origonaly a 4cyl. Blew the head gasket and got a new car for a DD. I got a good deal on a wrecked Grand marquis, that donated the trucks new drivetrain. When I first did the swap it had a shift kitted AOD, but that got old fast. Ive only had it to the track once, with the AOD, 14.7 @ 91mph, I didnt think that was too terrible for a stock non HO (e6) automatic. Swaped it out for a T5 and thats how I drove it for a while. Recently I got a good deal on an explorer intake, and thats where the turbo build started.

    Here pictures so far

We're doing an LS1 one of these atm. Before you had the intercooler there, how was it for radiator and fan room? Any idea on what it weighs?

Oh and could you tell me what your wheelbase is as mine is a LWB cab chassis.

The radiator was really tight before. Maybe 1/2 inch between the water pump pully and the radiator. I had to have an electric fan in front, and this was the stock 4cyl radiator, but it still kept it running around town at about 190*. As for weight, I took it to the local dump and had it weighed when it had the AOD in it and it was a little over 3200, Alot more then I thought it would. But it is a full boxed frame with a 10bolt chevy rearend. Im still amazed on how solid it was built. What year is yours, acutally an isuzu or is it the new one thats really a rebaged s10? Im not sure on the wheel base, but I will measure it for you tonight.

Mine is a Holden Rodeo which is a rebadged version of yours.

I'm hoping with alloy motor, Th350 and a minamilistic tray to keep mine under 3000. We're looking at shortening the chassis and was wondering how much shorter yours was. I'm hoping to "notch" the radiator support panel and move the rad forward a bit to allow some slimline fans behind it.

    What are your wheels off?

The wheel base is 108in. You should be able to get the weight down under 3000. The 3200 was with a full bench seat, about 50 or so pounds of stereo stuff, and the heavy automatic. My wheels are off of a 90s suburban, they are 16in mags, pretty light too. Its tough to find decent 6 lug rims.
Got the motor and transmission in today also, working on the hotside tonight and tomorrow, Ill get some pics up when I get a chance.

Got the downpipe pretty much done. Also got my 3.5in dynomax bullet, so the rest of the exhaust will be finished up by the end of the week. Heres some pics.

3in vband, necks up to 3.5in all the way out.

Thanks. Im not sure on the radiator yet. Im moving it to the bed now and havent ran it yet. I think it will work fine, but the fan will be on most of the time.

Thanks. They are modified solid mustang mounts.

Thanks. When I started the swap I wanted it to be something other then a s10 with a 350. Most people that see it dont even know what it is, or even know what an Isuzu is.

Sorry about no updates for a while, school has kept me busy.
First things first, the old radiator just wasnt keeping it cool so..
