yea Shane im going to put water back in at just before the elbow lookin down on 3.5" pipe
I was going to make 3 take offs off the exhaust blank off ,but now I think im going to drill and tap 3- 1/2" fittings off manifold and run them to down pipe

I got a bung going in after the 90 on the 2 1/2 pipe post turbo of course
im getting ss heat shields made up for all piping prior to water cooling
also wrapping all piping with 2" heat wrap

I spotted ,drilled and tapped manifold for water return into exhaust yesterday .I did 3 holes ,but I think im going to do 4 take offs cause I think 100% water from the motor exits out the flange I blocked off
    any input?

on our boat we will prob just run a walbro 255lph i think the are 100.00 part number may be a #392

i wonder if a guy could get a rough measurement of blocked off water passage and make sure you have enough water going out the brass fittings?????? maybe youhave enough or you need to go with bigger fittings???

I never felt like you had to have a great deal of water moving through the center section. I would think that would be enough right there.

Shane made a good point im not sure about how much water does run through there I heard all heated engine water exits out through exhaust .I did post more pix of new heat shield and all water inlets in down pipe.
I did add 4 more coolant takeoffs in manifold and in down pipe for a total of 7.Im going to cap 2 of them and use 5 .If engine runs hot ill add has needed

    heres a bunch more pix
    here a pic lookin in to elbow about 1 1/4 " x 1/4"
    do laugh at Frankenstein downpipe
    photo 1 (5).jpg #ad

Not to worried about the exhaust flow its a 3 1/2" pipe stock was 2 1/4"
    image (4).jpg #ad

    SS heat shield
    photo 3 (4).jpg #ad
