    Hello everyone,

I've been away for a while ( 8 years lol). To everyone that was following my build: https://www.theturboforums.com/posts/1571295/ I apologise. The Cougar got parked for almost 3 years shortly after I completed it due to other obligations. It remained unchanged until recently. I've redesigned everything from the firewall forward. I'm now in the process of rebuilding the engine. It's nice to be back in the Turboforum community.

What didn't you like about the old setup?

The turbo location and exhaust pipe routing. The new set up took a lot of weight off of the front of the car and reduced under hood temperatures. Working on the right side of the engine was also a pain in the ass.

After redesigning the turbo system I managed to get it on the track just to loose cylinder 8. Still ran an 11.90 @ 120. Blew the ring land off of the piston lol. This was my last guinea pig engine. I spent the following year building a new engine with forged pistons, CJ rods, balanced rotating assembly. Shortly after getting the car out again 3rd gear went away. I guess I can't complain, it spent it's first ten years behind a 460 in my 11 second Mustang then another 10 years in the Cougar. Pics to follow.
