Hello all: Since I am not dead from the last car incident I am building a new one. I found this GEM in the Arizona desert and it has been sitting many years. It is super dry with almost no rust at all. I do like to start with complete cars since parts are so hard to find. A lot of the parts from the 60' caddy will swap over to this Oldsmobile but still lots of fab work also. I have only had it a few weeks but it has come a long way in a few weeks. #ad

This was my caddy build that was killed while I was filling it with gas. I was standing at the rear bumper. A lot of the parts I am swapping between cars. #ad

Glad to see that you are doing okay after the accident.
New car looks cool! Looking forward to the build, maybe build a side fuel door for this one?
I pumped gas at a station when I was a kid and getting hit like that was something I never even thought of, no cell phones then though....

Sweet car! Sucks about the last one. Did you paint or powder coat the charge piping?

 

It is painted with 1500 deg aluminum heat paint. it seems to work very well for hot and cold side.
