Hey guys can you check my thought process real quick I have been searching the internet for quite some time on an easy question.

I want to run 28x10.5 on a 15x12 double beadlock 6.5" bs. 2002 8.8 shortened 2" per side with 9" ends, coilovers, offset lca's, and mini tub.

Anyone see any serious problems with this? Most people run 6.5" bs on a 10" rim and oem length housing. so does shortening the housing allow running a wider rim/tire with the same back spacing?

The 9" housing in my 03 is 48.5" long flange to flange and has a 2.5" flange offset. My wheels are 15x12 with a 5.5" BS. The car is mini tubbed and the LCAs are not offset. The rotor hats are 1/4" thick also. I have 275 Pro's on it now and everything fits great. Hopefully this info helps you.
