Best cylinder head on a 331 and 408w turbo motor

    1.whats mostly everone using on a 331 turbo motor.
    2. whats everyone using on a 408 turbo motor.

    this will be a race 4 bolt dart block with billet internals. im going to make around 1000 to 1200hp.

    im startin a new project asap and need some help. thanks for any help. much appreciated.

    I would try taking a look around the "builds" forum. Lots of answers in there. If it were me, on a 331 i would use some AFR 185's. On a 408, i would go with AFR 225's. For a pump gas, street car application, i would get the compression somewhere between 8.5:1 and 9:1. Also, the SEARCH function is a great tool on this site.

    Good luck on your 1000 horsepowers. That is alot of horsepowers.

    450 can scare you if your green.

    For a street motor I agree with the above at around 9 to 1
