MODZILLA the twin turbo pickup modular build

    I picked this truck up a year ago and so far cut away what i don't need and strarted building the chassis out of 2x3 mild steel , moved the front tin up and lowered the cab over the chassis and we had to cut the hood to fit .

    - 8.8 Rear end w/strange spool and axles , braced housing and shortened 5", w/Willwood disc brakes , 3.55 gear ,
    - coilover in rear , Mustang tubular upper and lower control arms
    - Mustang adj. coilover front struts , tube lower control arms
    - 350 sbc ---- Not anymore NEW MOTOR 4.6L DOHC FORD yes i said Ford
    - Tail BOV
    - 2 Ebay GT45
    - 2 Ebay 60mm W/G's
    - 2 A-W IC's
    - Turbo 400 trans
    - 15x12 rear w/345 rubber
    - 15x4 ftr w/skinny's

    This will be set up the same as a 90 mustang , since it has frt and raer mustang susp.

    Hell yeah I agree with 68 ... that trucks body lines are sharp I love this style truck and it looks great lower to the ground like that. I think I'll even forgive ya for puttin a Chevy in it.. lol But I'll definitely be checkin out the progress on this and see how it goes. Good luck with your build man. :2thumbs:

    Well new plans on the power plant , i will start by saying yes i am a chevy guy at heart but i have fallen in love with the 4.6L DOHC motor and yes i will be purchasing a 1994 Lincoln Mark 8 DOHC 4.6L , it's the Teksid motor that will hold upto 1200 hp.

    will be using a twin turbo carb blow thru with it .

    Not sure if i should use the trans that comes with the motor , i could use some input on what trans to use but don't forget this is a budget build

    Thats funny i am going with the ford 4.6l DOHC motor , i need some info on what trans to use

    Mike is this going to be for the most part street truck?

    If your going to go the chevy trans route may as well go with the turbo 400 or a glide.

    Great looking build I just love these old fords.

    Picked up a 1994 Mark 8 DOHC 4.6L today :chacha: , now just to get all the other parts :bang:

    All the cage material is in just have to pick it up :welder:

    Sick build the stance looks awesome and the dohc topped of with a carb will give it that old school hem look at first glance. Good motor choice :2thumbs:

    DOHC Blue Oval is/was a very good choice. Again, cool build !

    Are you planning on going auto or stick?
