gonna give a quick rundown since im having issues with uploading pics.
    what i took out...
all of the sound deadening on the floors
    front bumper support
    a/c
    heat
    cruise
basically all creature comforts besides power windows

    set up (so far)
    bone stock 5.0HO from a mark 7
    fidanza aluminum flywheel
    mmr 725 clutch
older tremec tko with a shiny purple d&d shifter
home made thru the floor subframes
s&w racecars 6pt mild steel cage
battery in a UPR box in the back, switch behind my flip down license plate

still have a lot of work but with the economy the way it is and me being a contractor, ive had a lot of time of late to get this thing finally running after 2 years of letting it sit.

taking it over to a buddy's house later in the week to have him weld the cage up inside and make it look all pretty since i hate welding anything overhead.

thinking of stopping by the scales on the way back to see what she weighs right now. my 89 hatch with pretty much the same set up as this thing right now weighed 2950 with me in it. any guesses?

have some pics up. will be posting more on my myspace. www.myspace.com/mayer5oh

Re: 92 notch, "looks like a 13 second coupe"

figured i would also list all the parts i have sitting here waiting to install.
    8.8 rear with 3.55s
sn95 spindles with new brakes for the front
black powder coated 03 cobras with MT drag radials
still unsure if im going to paint the car this year so im only half putting interior back in for now
also putting 5pt harness in the car, ditching seat belts, but keeping the back seat
spare short block soon to have an f cam, ported stock heads, arp bolts, gt40 intake and 70mm tb
flipped shorty headers with vbands, flexpipe and t4 flange, needs a little reworking
    turbonetics 72mm turbo .96 hotside
    tial 44 wastegate

    planning to buy yet:
    tube kmember and arms
    coilovers and 90/10s
    tq box reinforcements
    rear suspension?

cars going to be set up for drag, trying to make a race car thats as light as possible, that doesnt look much like a race car.

sleeper is what im going for. i still have black 03 cobras for it but im torn on them still!! oh well, who doesnt have 17s on their street car. i am pretty pumped tho, walking around the car from a distance you dont really notice the cage at all, but i am planning on tinting the back window at least.

just started by hacking up that thing somebody called a hotside. i want the turbo on the drivers side.

got the new spindles and brakes on today. need some hardware yet for the lines. still need bushings for the rack too. two pics show the washers i used and how i had to clearance them for the strut. also for some reason the stock strut holes were about an 1/8" closer together than the sn95 spindles so i had to elongate the holes a bit
