    Wow! AWESOME sleeper. I would shit my pants if I saw a rear like that under a stock looking 4 door bimmer

    Looks pretty cool so far! I always like to see something out of the ordinary once in a while. Keep the pics coming. Very interested to see how the back half turns out. :2thumbs:

    real creative i like the that idea :D a mod motor in a bmw with a tub and a nine inch why didnt they do that stock? :doh: :doh:

    I built a hood out of fiberglass to clear the manifold. Im not sure if I like it or hate it, let me know what you think. I guess it does get the job done though.

    Sweet build. I've always liked the look of E30's but the drivetrain needed upgraded imo.

    The first one I built had a SBC 700r4 trans.

    The current one has a 2.3T and T5.

    I would have to say the mod motor has to be tighter than either of my builds.

    what exterior color are you going w/? the stock color?

    Im not sure what color to paint the car, I am trying to keep it low key. I was thinking maybe a dark silver or gray? I am up for suggestions if you have any

    You could go a million directions with it. If you really want low key The factory silver/grey is OK. I think they look sharper with darker colors like Black, Navy blue and I guess my red car is OK.

    Are you looking for a factory BMW color?


    Good luck trying to keep low key ;)

    I can pull it off because mine looks/sounds anemic
