S-197 Twin Turbo Stage 3 Roush Build

    2006 Twin Turbo Stage 3 Roush Mustang




    So far the modification list is:

    THP Twin 62mm Turbo Kit - slightly modified
    "Blow By Racing" BBR 302 Modular Stroker Shortblock
    BBR Stage 2 Camshafts
    BBR VCT Lockouts
    Manley Springs
    BBR CNC Ported & Polished 3V Heads
    BBR Fuel System Upgrade Kit
    T-6060 Trans w/ Mcleod Twin Diskl Clutch Kit
    BBR Suspension Upgrades

    Custom Tuned by: Chris Jones @ Blow By Racing

    Car so far is 780 rwhp / 730 rwtq @ 5200 rpm with only 16psi. We were having a problem with the original THP inlet tube. It went from a 3" diameter to a 4", back down to a 3", which in turn, led to a problem with air turbulence, which made it very difficult to tune passed 5200 rpm. Chris set the Rev limiter to 5000 rpm, and allowed the car to be driven to get a little more break in time on the motor. Now, the lewly fabricated 3" to 4" inlet tube is made, jet hot coated and installed. Also got the new JPC 3V Intake Manifold which will be installed next week. Once all that is done, new dyno numbers will be available. Also, hopefully some track times.

    Might have the car on the dyno w/ new intake this weekend. If not, Monday for sure. It all depends on how backed up the tuner is at Blow By Racing.
