The 510 is an ongoing project and is a street/strip car. The motor is currently out of the car being rebuilt and the plans are to use a dual fuel sytem running 87 octain gasoline during regular driving and switching to E85 when under boost. What I am hoping for is a car that will deliver 30mpg during regular driving and 500 rwh when under boost with the E85.

10.96 run with my old setup, drove 45 min to and from the track on that day.

Cool car :2thumbs: i like inline sixes :D I noticed you are running without an intercooler, from what i understand n2o is a great interccoler. How much n2o do you feed it? how much boost?

The intercooler is chemical, the system in the top picture used 35% methanol as total fuel and cooled the intake charge below ambient. The new setup using 100% E85 should cool the intake charge more than the 35% methanol. The N20 will be tuned to a roughly 100 rwh shot and only be used at the track. I am hoping for 600 rwh with 22-23 psi of boost/nitrous.

The AEM datalog shows intake temps dropping from over 150 * to just above 55*.

I agree. :2thumbs: I almost got into Datsuns a while back, but at the time it was hard to find a decent 510 that wasn't fetching a king's ransom. All the decently priced ones needed a pile of work, so I got a Mustang that needed a pile of work instead. I was also looking for an RX3....almost glad I didn't start playing with Wankels.

Funny, I saw you are in CA and thought "where is he going to get E85?" Then I saw the video and said "Hey, that's Famoso!", then I did a double-take and saw you're in Tulare, the only city north of L.A. I know of with an E85 station.

Sweet build! I can't wait till there are more E85 stations in Cali and Nevada. I'll switch over in the blink of an eye. Wow! There are only 7 public E85 stations in Cali. Merry X-Mas everyone!
