Hello, just wanted to shed light on the Vecco twin tubo kit feedback. I know there has been quite a few posts, try to pry any info on the company. If you guys dont allready know i own the black twin turbo Lx that was featured on the Vecco website, ya know the one that made 380Hp and 470 torque!!! Well it is all very true, only 7.5 to 8psi gave me those #'s on a bone stock engine, I should know it is my car, and i know my boost gauge is calibrated. So to those who dont beleive it, can shove it!
I am good friends with the owner of Vecco, and i was one of the first people to purchase a kit from them. My car is daily driven and i have racked up many miles with the kit installed and have no problems at all. The only thing i added was some more heat sheilding to the clutch cable. I know they have sold 1 other stage 3 kits before, but i guess that guy never gets on any forums.

Recently blown away a few vettes, trans ams, and many imports!!

oh yea, and i am know running 9psi and the car is running low 12's on drag radials.

    peace out!

Anybody else? I need to see more than one car...

Maybe somebody who isn't involved in the company?

I've been looking into these kits and lack of feedback makes me very wary, being a former ITS buyer and sufferer...

Yeah, i agree with BlackDragon5.0, I need more than one person to be convinced that the system works as good as they claim it does. Im interested in checking the system out for myself, so today i called and left a message on there machine at around 11:00 EST. I havent heard back from them yet, but i hope i will soon. Also, jstonestang how many miles did you have on your Stang prior to installation. Ive got about 160,000+, I also called a place in Ralieh (True Blue Mustang) and spoke to Chris for about an hour + about the Vecco System and the proper setup for my Stang. In short, I was told that i would need massive improvement to my car before i could "properly" drop any turbo kit in her, much less a TT. It was told to me before by many and verified by Chris that i'd defintely need some heads (top and bottom), intake (probably ported), Crank, Ect...just to be able to support that much boast (even set at 7.5) without at least blowing a rod, cracking the heads or just plane old blowing my car to pieces. Not that i'm disagreeing with what your saying, (cause i'm no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination) but what intel do you have to support your claim. GOD nows i hope what your saying is true, cause if so i'd by one now (hense the reason i call Vecco earlier). Also, how much did our installation run you? And did it include the tuning?

You are not going to need a whole new motor like they are describing for this kit or pretty much any of the turbo kits out there. I agree on wanting to see more people, I think there are two on this site now and one who is involved with the company somehow. Nothing wrong with that, just how it is when a company is young to the market, hopefully it is not another ITS.

i just ordered 621 turbonetics turbo and a racegate from them today. they alway call me back right away if i dont get through. they have my cell number bc my home number has privacy manager and blocks them from calling. i always like to use email so u dont have to play phone tag. especialy if its a tech question. i left so many messages with AEM ems to their techs it was silly. i got one of the guys emails at AEM and now its just gravy. Oh yeah i got their engine management for my car. 99 mustang w/ a good old 302.

u have 160K on that motor?? i would think a rebuild would be a good idea at least, if your motor blows with turbos, who knows what will happen to them, you could screw up the bearing in the turbos with debris from the blown motor or something. goodluck with it!

Yep 160K+, i'm trying to find a place around me that could do a compression test and cylinder leak down to let me know were my engine stands. But i think i will probably start to rebuild the engine soon. Time to SHOP!!! Anyone got any suggestions, preferably based on experience. Thanks
