Is there a TT or single turbo set up that will pass the smog in California. (CARB #'s)?

You could find a used Incon or DDMI kit, I think I saw a Incon just the other day but not sure where I saw it maybe it was on the Corral.

its not quite legal, but it usually works
buy a stamping tool from a hardware store, get the carb number off of an incon kit, then stamp that number in ur turbo system somewhere visible, i know this is illegal and not right, but it is the only way to get around the smog nazi's, and if u are in a smog II area, ur are really out of luck because that is even harder regs

install your turbo right after you smog it, then you have almost 2 years to play, plenty of time to break your car and take it all apart again. that is the route ive taken.

even if it can potentially pass the sniffer test, 5.0 mustangs are classified as "smog only" vehicles in CA meaning they KNOW they are usually modified. they check CARB #'s and sent me home over an oil breather. they check for 4 cats, look up your edlebrock manifold, check your k&n, check to see if you didnt take the bulb out of your check engine light in dash, all kinds of funky stuff. i suggest getting a crooked guy, writing down your vin and smogging the wrong car, or what i said in the previous post above. cali sucks for that but at least we dont have to winterstore our cars. :taunt:
