I am doing that to my drag and drive car. I already put a 12V power port and 2 USB charge ports in it. Yours is a great design.

Just a general update. Been driving the truck all over the place. I drive it at least 4 times a week just enjoying it. I took it to a no prep event that was drag radials only. I set up a quick tune on the street that let me get it out of the hole not spinning very much. It was a waste of time for getting any runs in. But it did teach me that I need to be able to spool and stage with a bump button. It isn’t easy when you are not used to it. Plus it was so slippery that the street tune I had in it wouldn’t hook until 90+ mph.
Ran a best of 13.12@119. It was demotivating. It did reveal one issue I hadn’t been aware of.
When it would get kinda warm in the staging lanes it would crank slow and be tough to start. Not needed in the middle of a race. I had been suspect of pulling so much power through a continuous duty relay that I use to isolate the battery for a full shutdown. So I grabbed another battery ran it parallel to the current one and ran the starter directly off of it and through a separate starter solenoid. It cranks over way better now. Lesson learned. For a street truck with a ton of electrical load just run 2 batteries and separate solenoids. It feels like a 16 v system compared to what it was. Plus it gives me a ton of reserve to run my electric rad fan and electric water pump in the staging lanes. I got some slicks and I am going to try a prepped track. I know I will be faster than I am allowed to run without a bar so I am going to lift at the 660 and just look at 1/8 mile times and 60 foot.

Well I was working on some very small drivability issues with tip in and a lean spot. When I found a very lonely stretch of road. I decided to make a quick hit on it. Drag radials well worn 3 years old, no burnout, 2500 rpm launch with about 2 psi on launch. [email protected] with a crappy 1.94 60’. I had 3% up hill and a nearly 3400 foot DA. I think I may have to cage this thing if I want to run it out the back on the track.

I also weighed it while I was out testing and tuning.

Total 4188 lb full tank dual batteries my ass in the seat.
    Front 2142lb 51%
    Rear 2046 lb 49%
    Lf 1100 lb Rf 1034
    Lr 1012 Rr 990 lb

Not too shabby. You had 2psi on launch, what did it peak out at?

You get into cage land REALLY quickly with boost. I'm certain I'm going to have to cage mine though I've not yet tried to take it to the track.

I am not sure I forgot to hit the datalogging switch. Lol. Usually if it runs 120 it made 8-9 psi. I ramp it into 8 psi by 60 mph.

Bought some slicks and decided to go to the local track. I got put in a box class because they would let me run 1/8 mile without a bar/cage. Ran it with my street tune up 8 psi of boost and a 3000 rpm launch. I took some fuel out to help it get up on the converter faster but didn’t make hardly any boost on the brake. It ran a best of 1.61 60 foot and 7.06@99 mph. I lifted at the 1/8 mile and it still ran a 11.89@72 mph. Lol. When you convert that 7.06 to quarter it is 11.0x so that is as close to tens in the quarter as it gets. So I loaded a tuneup that has 2 psi more boost and 3500 launch RPM and got into line. Just as I lined up I see a bunch of people rushing up to the line. Big crash he is ok but car is totalled. I left after that because it was going to be a couple hours to clean up and I had already been there 6 hours to make 3 passes and I was kicked out in the first round. It isn’t a bracket truck not going to try and make it a bracket truck I just go to make passes. Usually if it works out I get three passes in competition and 3 ish in time onlys.

It isn’t a official 10 second truck but I am calling it that after I had zero issues with traction and launch. I just needed a tick more power. Which I have loaded in the Fueltech right now.
