Twin Pulley GT500 Roll Race vs Single Turbo 4v SN95 Cobra

    Roll racing will occur between my 4v 4.6 single turbo and my friends 2014 5.8 GT500 stock blower with upper and lower pullies making 711 rwhp.

    I ran with him a few times but I had 4.10 gears so I wouldn’t really try to stick with him since it was highway mph and I don’t use 5th with the t45 I had. His car is fast. I feel like my power to weight ratio with my new 3.31 gears and t56 magnum for mph put us in the same ball park.

    I’m excited because I hope for good races win or lose. Will be fun! Both on street tires (My drag strip does roll also)

    All the 2011-2014 GT500 5.8 dyno charts I've seen show it starts near peak torque and stays there to nearly 6K before it starts dropping a lot.

    What's the planned start speed? Is his an auto? Maybe spend some time on GT500 boards seeing what their best start speed is, and avoid that, lol.

    ~60mph, both are stick, GT500 is completely stock except lower and upper pulley with dyno tune. There’s no dirty tricks just trying to battle cars. We both have the same exact T56 and rear end gears. Pretty sure his ways 1k pounds more. Also my new setup spits max tq and hp power lines to match his GT500. I love 4.10s but that was where I found my need for change.

    I prefer dig racing but I can’t trust that car next to mine, if you know what I mean haha.

    Yeah, I think you got about a 700 lb advantage, but there's too much unknown to bench race this one!
