Here is the strange struts and coil overs with an older but new AJE K-member. I stripped the firewall down to the metal and got rid of the mouse nesting material and went with dynamat. I am getting rid of the old wiring and I went with American auto wire. What a nice kit. I also decided to rebuild the pedals use new bushings and paint everything. The dash needed work. I stripped it down to metal and used my laser rust removal tool to remove the rust on the steel frame. I then painted everything and rebuilt the heater box. It took three days to do the heater box. What a mess. It was full of sand from blasting the engine compartment!
    Yuck!
I redid all the foam and bought as new heater core and evaporator. What a pain to install the evap core! You need to cut the box open and then glue it togethere!

Is that a stock replacement wiring harness or is it a universal deal?

It is meant a stock replacement but without an airbag. I am still working on the install. I need to install the rear harness and under the hood and headlights. It is a beautiful piece though! I love it

One thing I found that was amazing was the damn metal dash support. It was bare metal! Weird!

Wow, really good to know there is an alternative to 30 yo wiring out there now. How much was it?

Why did you quote my post? It has nothing to do with what you wrote? Just use the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread to respond to posts.

So I am back at it. The downpipes are in. The drivers side required shortening the down pipe and rewelding it. It was too close to the firewall. I called Brian from B and G but no answer LVM a few times. Anyway, it fit snow. The brand new FORD NOS PB didn't fit. So another 5-700 on a hydrobooster conversion. The turbo's are also too close to the front of the car and I will need to relocate the air filters. I am not sure if he sent me a 302 hot side. It was a long time ago. I have had the hot side for 15 years. The procharger fits in between the frame rails but it's tight. It's coming along. I had a tough weekend the rear end (9 inch plates are missing), the driver side axle is stuck. i need a puller.

I purchased a holley sniper. It seems like the easiest way. I am going to keep my Edelbrock on my 91 Silverado twin turbo but the Sniper for this car. The engine was lowered with solid mounts. I also changed the K member location by adding a M and M 1/2 spacer kit. This did not fit the down pipe issue and required a little frame cutting on the drivers side. The down pipe was helped though. The steering linkage fits! The rack and pinion required some grinding of the top and some massaging of the oil pan curve. I also had to grind one area on the bottom where it hit the frame and use offset poly mounts!!!
    Ugh!
I am going to need to go under the rear with the exhaust. It just doesn't fit. I purchased 2.5 inch stainless works pipes and will use butt clamps. Boy they are expensive the EBAY SS is cheaper but I couldn't do it.......

I used nut inserts and moved the stock brake cable brackets. They were hitting the coil overs in the stock location. I used a long 5/16 bolt to lock them in. I am not sure why I have duplicate pics. I also added a line lock. I am having a little trouble with one of the axles from quick performance. It is too long. So I have three brakes hooked up. The wire tie are temporary until I receive the 5/8 18 jam nuts from Summit

Here are the pics of the brakes installed and bled. I added the driveshaft and the exhaust. The power steering is installed with PTFE 6AN lines. I used a PS filter and rubber on the low side. The car has a hydrobooster and boy those fittings wee a pain! I have the earlier model and there was really no info available. I am now working on the fuel system. I need to cut the gas tank because it hits the damn tire! I will cut it and reweld it. I am running 10AN feed and 10AN return. I ordered PTFE lines. It is getting close. I installed the Hurst shifter and the clutch cable and throttle cable. It was satisfying to finally bleed the brakes. I replaced all the lines with SS. I did use some nickel copper around the master cylinder to the proportioning valve.
