I have commited to a plan and a "look" of the car i am going for. Some parts have started to roll in.
Getting the motor and powertrain figured out as i move forward.

The engine I'm going to use is in this pile somewhere lol.
Its a lsa short block with a set of rec port l92 heads, ls3 intake, DW1000 injectors, billet balancer, new bearings, rings, oil pump, timing set ect. My pile of LS parts is kinda getting out of hand I think.

I really like those years of Camaro. That is not a factory split bumper front end, though, but it looks good nonetheless. Split bumper noses were urethane in the center and had a slightly different marker light iirc. I'll have to dig out pics of my 72 Z28 RS I had in 75/76

Thats my understanding. Marker lights were round to the inside of the head lights. Grill surround was urethane with a smaller grill. This car is to my knowledge a regular oh f body with the RS bumperettes and brackets. These cars were long before me, so anything i "know" about them is second or third hand.

Lol. I guess I lived the dream. Yes, I remember the round markers/turn signals next to the grille, they looked fantastic. I didn't know till years later just how rare that car was. I enjoyed it while I owned it.

Engines together. i have a new summit pro ls turbo manifold here i bought for something else. Started to mock it up with a gt55 i had also from another project. Probably not the answer but its a direction and started me thinking. New trans is finally bolted to the engine. the new billet input and the yank converter were super tight. Took a bit of hand file work to get them to jive.
The traqns is full billet input, drum, dual feed, rolerized, yadda yadda. Basicallyt all the goods except a T brake. I may regret that omission later, but this is going to be a daily kinda car. I'm hoping i have the were with all to basically make it work, run and live like my truck. if so, this thing will be great. IMG_20220801_143633.jpg #ad
