You will need a regulator with that, return style close to the manifold is going to be the best bet. FYI those inline pumps are not great at drawing fuel, they really need to be close to the tank, at or below the lowest fuel level.

Any chance you could go to an in tank setup? What is the vehicle?

We have this pump on my buddies truck.
As long as you place it level with the bottom and to the rear of the tank outlet , it should work fine. This is assuming the tank feeds from the bottom.

I personally will only use aeromotive regulators. aeromotive 13204 will work great.

3/8 steel line for feed and return hasnt caused us any issue. I do have two 3/8 feed lines from the fuel cell that go to a Y just before the pump. The dual feed is just my concern with pump cavitation from not enough fuel gravity feed to the pump inlet. It may not be a problem. Just my precaution.

I would suggest a larger feed line from the tank to the pump.
If doing AN line, 8 feed and return with 1o feed to the pump.

You need to run a marine approved pump.

Cant hear this pump at all on his truck. Its also not daily driver quite when it comes to exhaust. But its not obnoxious. Id drive it everyday.

In blow thru applications pumps are much quieter. Must be a pressure thing.
Ive heard multiple efi cars with a1000 pumps. Of the a1000 blow thru setups ive done , they are drastically quieter than efi combos.

I used to run the gsl392's (Walbro 255) on my CJ, fed by carter low pressure electrics. You could definitely here the Walbros, even with the stupid loud side pipes. I am sure you will hear them on a marine application, but it's a constant tone so it goes away quick. You will notice it on startup then forget about it.
