Hello from hot Arizona. I have 95 Ranger with a slow ass 2.3L with a 5spd. Building a 2.5L with a T56 trans and a 9” rear end. Engine will have forged piston and rod, BoPort stage 4 head with a custom turbo cam, PT 6266 precision turbo. Main thing I have to figure out is a good EFI system. And a good tuner in Arizona or Cali. Looking at seeing if I can keep my stock ecu and get like a SCT and have it tuned well, or go with Motec.

Is their any good tuners that work with the Ford factory EFI and ecu?

 

Hard to find anymore. I used to do a lot of EEC-IV tuning, but with all the stand alones these days i just don't touch it anymore. I would recommend going with a Holley EFI.
