Hey so I am in the process of building my 4.6 4v. I had a single 76/75 precision .81 ar on it before it crapped out. The car ran strong and spool was decent. With this new engine built its gonna have high c/r 11.1 with custom cams from todd warren and light ported heads and stock 01 cobra intake. Will run mostly on e85. Question is I want 1200 wheel hp maxed out and I want decent spool so would you guys run a twin set up over single? If so what turbo or turbos would you guys suggest??? Thank you for the inputsmm

You are still in the realm of inexpensive single turbos, a bullseye 88mm will get you to your goal, a box stock s480 might even get you there if you lean on it, but you will be maxed out. If 1200 is the end game stay single, if you are going to push it harder twins will give you a lot more options, twin s362 will hit 1200 and you would have options to upgrade later on.

Thanks for the input.. I was more interested in which set up I could get to spool faster? The single or twins. I know if I pick the right size single it would do ok but I was wondering if twins could spool a little better. I will look into the s362 turbos. I ran a precision 76/75 before and it would spool around 3200 rpm which wasnt bad at all but I dont think that 76/75 will make the power.

So come on guys help me pick some twin turbos that will spool sooner and still make 1200 wheel.. I have a couple thoughts on what would work but its nice to hear from some that have done it and so on..

I'm not sure 58s would get you there as the coyote guys seem to fall short of that 1200 number with twin 58's, but the 62mm cars seem to get there on full kill. One of my good friends has a gen 2 coyote (similar compression to your build) on twin precision 6262s and it spools up pretty good with a 6 speed. (unsure the actually RPM but very driveable). Its never been put on kill to see if the 1200 number is realistic. I'm assuming your a manual trans car?

Running a magnum t56. 58s would be lacking I am sure. I am debating on 62s or 64s. I will run it up to 7500 rpms. My local track is a 1/8th so I might benefit from smaller 62s.
