Just an amazing build! I can't imagine the amount of time you have in this! So many questions come to mind looking through all the pictures. I guess I'll start with the potentiometers. When you say pull fuel or timing, is that across the board? Makes me wonder how to incorporate that on a Megasquirt but I think I'm already out of inputs.

How much power do you think it's making?

Thanks Cummins, It took me a year to build but I'm retired so got to spend a lot of time on it. The potentiometers have the value you want to have it to control edited in the input box, I have mine set at 10% + or -, and the timing set at 10 degrees + or -. I have no idea what the HP is but I can tell you it is fun to drive. The boost is a little over what I wont but I have to learn to keep my foot out of it. The boost hits 6 pounds quick but will go to 10 psi if you keep your foot in it.

When I built the engine I installed a high volume oil pump because it needs to supply oil not only to the engine but also the turbo's. I could not find out what pressure nor orifice size Ford used so I guessed and came up with this system. I used vibration resistant needle valves to control the oil flow to the turbo's. The turbo's do not suck oil nor have they burned up and the engine has good oil pressure.... thus far. After starting the engine and breaking it in I did close the valves a little more than I had them set at.

Love all the ideas you have making the "old" stuff work with newer components. Great work!

Simply amazing, I appreciate the craftsmanship and out of the box thinking. You truly have a talent and I’m glad being retired you have time to use it. I also like how there wasn’t a performance goal in mind building this, simply the challenge of making it all work and the end result is what it is. Very cool and great build!

Very KOOL build for sure. I am going to borrow some of your 94 carb mod design for a few 6 x 2 setups. If I may ask how well did the stock throttle plates work / seal for consistency idel rpm ?

Thank you XKfab, surprising the throttle plates worked out great. I did install longer throttle shafts due to the linkage arms and I was wondering also if they would seal good enough for a low idle but they did. I used a UniSync to set each carburetor and only one carburetor idle adjustment is used as the main linkage controls the other canburetors as the idle screw is moved. I don't know where the underlined fonts came from. Good luck on your builds and glad this might be of some use. I might mention the '55/'56 Ford carburetors have larger throttle plates (1 3/8" compare to the regular 1 1/4".

Thanks Brian, you will enjoy your retirement I'm sure. I like to keep busy but found out the busier I am the more money I spend.

Thanks, I didn't remember the 55 56 had larger throttle plates. Not sure I will need them with 12 plates for my HP goal. After seeing your injectors in the blocks valley I am going to do something similar. If it works out well like it believe it will I might have to do it to this FH build that has been stalled due to street fuel drivable IMG_20210225_173511.jpg #ad

Mnlx just want to give you an update , bought the latching relay and set it up so now it energizes with a momentary switch and drops out with brake pedal. I want to thank to you again and you idea is much better than mine. Working under a Model A dash sucks by the way.

No problem, this place is all about sharing ideas and knowledge. I think your build has given plenty back already.
